Meet Diana Vandra: Your Adoption Education Champion at Lifetime

Diana isn’t just our Adoption Outreach & Education Coordinator, she’s an adoptive mom herself! That experience fuels her passion for helping others understand how adoption works today. Diana joined Lifetime back in 2009, and ever since, she’s been on a mission to change the conversation around adoption.

How? By offering free adoption training sessions! These workshops are like online classes (webinars) for social workers, pregnancy centers, and even hospital staff. Diana packs these sessions with accurate info so these professionals can support women considering adoption in the best way possible. Her ultimate goal? To break the stigma and show everyone that adoption is a loving choice. It’s a gift from the birth parents to the adoptive family, and Diana wants everyone to know it.

For Diana, connecting birth mothers with adoptive families is more than just a job, it’s an honor. She wants women to feel celebrated for making such a selfless decision.

Now that her three kids are all grown up, Diana and her husband are getting back to their hobbies. Their new favorite thing? Hitting the road on their bikes! It’s a fun way to reconnect and explore new places together.

Diana’s all about staying connected with her loved ones. Whether it’s enjoying her favorite food (homemade cookies!), catching up with her kids (her favorite splurge!), or spending time with her husband and mom, these moments are what make her happy.

What Diana Also Loves

But Diana’s also got an adventurous side. She loves exploring new places, especially Fort Bragg/Mendocino and San Diego. And if she ever gets a rare day all to herself? Don’t be surprised to find her curled up with a good book, lost in a captivating story.

By equipping professionals who work directly with birth mothers with the knowledge and resources they need, Diana indirectly supports adoptive families and birth mothers on their journeys.
